Located on 300 Lafayette Street, New York, NY, this landmark building is 90,000 square feet with 2 below grade floors and 7 above grade floors. March took this on as a CM-fixed-fee open book contract. 300 Lafayette is constructed as a concrete post-tensioned superstructure.
The terracotta facade is complete, while work on the ground floor window panels and the upper outdoor terrace space is finishing up. Eventually, shrubs will be planted along the edge of the exterior on each level, along with tall trees lining the private terrace for office workers. Directly above is a large, ornamental, overhanging trellis that hovers on top of the entire seating area. It follows the outline of the building and implements a large-scale geometric pattern of the metal hand railings that are placed on all three sides of the property.
